2007 Museums: Museum of Flight, Seattle WA

KBFI -  N47 31 48 W122 18 07  (Boeing Field)

Note:  Click here for the 2006 pictures.

This amazing museum is located at the famed Boeing Field in Seattle, right where so many historical airplanes were designed and built !  Definitely worth a visit...

Quite a nice museum with rare airplanes, although the chosen way of displaying them makes observing them up close and photography somewhat difficult.  Because of that, many of the pictures below have more than one airplane in the field of view.

Still, definitely a worthwhile stop if you travel by Seattle !  By the way, my pictures date back to May 2003 so many exhibits have probably changed since then.    Their Web site

April 07:    A couple of years after my first visit (pictures lower below), I finally had the chance to go back to this great museum.  Good idea too because they have made many changes since and I was also able to finally see the Concorde first hand !
